Statement of the Student Union of Uczelnia Biznesu i Nauk Stosowanych „Varsovia” in Warsaw
With regard to various media publications that have been circulating in press for a long time, and which constitute a direct attack on Uczelnia Biznesu i Nauk Stosowanych „Varsovia” harming the good name of the University and its students, the Student Union of Uczelnia Biznesu i Nauk Stosowanych „Varsovia” would like to firmly state the following:
- Recent media publications relating to Uczelnia Biznesu i Nauk Stosowanych „Varsovia” are unreliable and harmful.
We have been observing with concern the growing wave of attacks directed at our University. It should be noted that media reports are often based on false or incomplete information intended to discredit our Alma Mater Uczelnia Biznesu i Nauk Stosowanych „Varsovia” as well as its wider student community. We firmly oppose such practices and disinformation that can only harm the University and, above all, its students.
- We have met with the University authorities to discuss the current situation.
On 22 February 2024, a meeting of the Student Union of Uczelnia Biznesu i Nauk Stosowanych „Varsovia” and the University authorities took place. During the meeting, the current situation regarding the University was profoundly discussed, including all the issues related to the organization and course of the teaching process.
- The organization and course of the teaching process at Uczelnia Biznesu i Nauk Stosowanych „Varsovia” is not at risk.
We would like to assure the students that all scheduled teaching classes at Uczelnia Biznesu i Nauk Stosowanych „Varsovia” continue and will continue to take place as planned. The University authorities make every effort to provide students with the best possible learning conditions. Despite the many emerging obstacles, the organization of classes is under full control and there is no threat to their continuation.
- We support students of Uczelnia Biznesu i Nauk Stosowanych „Varsovia”.
The Student Union of Uczelnia Biznesu i Nauk Stosowanych „Varsovia” is in constant contact with all the students and provides them with the necessary support. We are ready to provide further information and assistance to anyone who feels lost or concerned about the current situation. We would also like to appeal to everyone to exercise restraint in expressing their opinions. Each of us is working hard during our studies to achieve optimum academic results. The well-being of students and the entire academic community is of the utmost importance to us. Together with the University authorities, we take steps to improve various processes and strive for even higher educational standards.
