State awards for the employees of Uczelnia Biznesu i Nauk Stosowanych „Varsovia”
During the central Inauguration Ceremony of the Academic Year 2022/23 at Uczelnia Biznesu i Nauk Stosowanych „Varsovia” that took place on 26 October at the Arnold Szyfman Polish Theatre in Warsaw, four employees of the University were given distinguished state awards. The decorations were presented by the Secretary of State in the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy, Mr Jacek Żalek. They are an expression of gratitude for the invaluable contribution of Uczelnia Biznesu i Nauk Stosowanych „Varsovia” and its employees to the work on shaping the attitudes of students.
The following members of the Uczelnia Biznesu i Nauk Stosowanych „Varsovia” academic community were honoured:
- Vice Provost of Uczelnia Biznesu i Nauk Stosowanych „Varsovia” – Branch in Rzeszów, prof. Małgorzata Dubis, MBA – a Silver Cross of Merit
- Director of the Main Library of Uczelnia Biznesu i Nauk Stosowanych „Varsovia” in Warsaw, Ms Anna Ćwiek – a Gold Medal for Long Service
- Vice Provost for Student Affairs and Science, prof. Arkadiusz Durasiewicz, MBA, DBA – a Medal of the National Education Commission
- Advisor to the Minister of Education and Science, prof. Henryk Pietrzak from Uczelnia Biznesu i Nauk Stosowanych „Varsovia” – Branch in Rzeszów – a Medal of the National Education Commission
