This specialization focuses on the provision of care and support to people who are socially, medically or chronically disabled in the long term in order to improve their status in the society and improve their lives. The curriculum of this specialization covers such issues as pedagogy, psychology, philosophy, sociology and human resources management. The specialization prepares students to take on various roles ensuring a dignified and happy life of the disabled.

Diagnosing life needs as well as various possibilities and limitations of disabled and elderly people
Methods of therapy and activation
Terminology related to old age and disability
Cooperation with medical staff
Creating rehabilitation programmes together with rehabilitators and therapists
Provision of first aid
Provision of care services
Creating optimal living conditions
Building relationships with the family and local environment of the disabled

EMPLOYMENT PERSPECTIVES

Working as part of the supporting personnel in institutions and organizations dealing with the rehabilitation and assistance in overcoming communication barriers
Coordinators cooperating with various centres in order to improve the quality of life of the disabled

Running own businesses in the field of care and rehabilitation

- Copy of a secondary school leaving certificate – in case of Bachelor’s degree studies
- Copy of Bachelor’s diploma and transcript of grades – in case of Master’s degree studies

Make a payment of the tuition and entry fees
Attach payment confirmation to your application

STEP 4

ACCEPTANCE

Receive scans of Acceptance Letter
In case of non-EU students – make a Visa appointment
