Postgraduate Students’ Graduation Gala at the Palladium Theatre

On 4 March, the University held a graduation ceremony for our postgraduate students in the following fields of study: MBA, DBA, LL.M., DPH, LL.D., and MSc. in Psychotraumatology, Clinical Psychology, Psychooncology and Psychodietetics. The gala was held at the Palladium Theatre in Warsaw.

 

Every year we make it a tradition to provide a very solemn setting for the completion of postgraduate studies by our students so that they can experience it as a great celebration of the whole University.

Mr Arkadiusz Lachowicz, MBA, gave a speech on behalf of all the graduates.

 

During the gala, an award of Civis Academicus Honorificum was presented to prof. h.c. dr h.c. Andrzej Kraśnicki, President of the Polish Olympic Committee, in recognition of his support to student sports and our University.

 

Moreover. Izabela Trojanowska was honored with Uczelnia Biznesu i Nauk Stosowanych „Varsovia” Medal of Success for an outstanding artistic creativity of the singer as well as her huge contribution to the development of the Polish culture and the wider entertainment industry.

 

The culmination of the spectacular event was a concert by Ms Izabela Trojanowska who sang one of her greatest hits, including “As many truths as lies” and “Everything I want today”.

 

The ceremony was attended by numerous representatives of the wider business community as well as government and civic society members. We also welcomed many honourable rectors from Poland and Hungary, partners and friends of our University from Poland and abroad, including HM prof. dr hab. The graduation ceremony was hosted by Mr Zygmunt Chajzer. It was graced by the performance of a choir from the Archcathedral of St. John the Baptist in Warsaw which sang: Bogurodzica, Gaude Mater Polonia and Gaudeamus Igitur.
