Uczelnia Biznesu i Nauk Stosowanych „Varsovia” awarded the “Pro Masovia” Medal, while Provost gets distinguished by the Marshal of the Mazowieckie Voivodship
During the inauguration of the 2020/21 academic year, Uczelnia Biznesu i Nauk Stosowanych „Varsovia” received an honorary distinction awarded by the Marshal of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship. The “Pro Masovia” Commemorative Medal is typically awarded for a special contribution to the economic, social and cultural development of the region.
On behalf of Mr Adam Struzik, the Marshal of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship, the Medal was presented by Mr Konrad Wojnarowski – Chairman of the Committee for the Promotion of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship and Foreign Cooperation. The Provost of Uczelnia Biznesu i Nauk Stosowanych „Varsovia”, HM prof. dr hab. Paweł Czarnecki, MBA, DBA, LL.M, MPH, dr h.c. – who also received a personal award from the Marshal – emphasized that the distinctions will reinforce even greater commitment and motivation to further advance the very causes for Mazovia.
In addition to our Provost, the inauguration ceremony also saw the following persons receive honorary awards from the Marshal of the Masovian Voivodeship: Mr Grzegorz Kuca, MBA, Mayor of Białołęka District of the Capital City of Warsaw; prof. dr hab. n. med. Ireneusz Nawrot, MBA; dr h.c. Marian Dymalski, MBA, DBA, Vice President of the International Federation of Academic Sports (FISU) and Mr Przemysław Cichocki, MBA, DBA, Member of the County Board in Legionowo. Congratulations to all the honoured guests!
