On the 19^th of October this year, the ceremony of Inauguration of the Academic Year 2019/2020 took place for the first time at our branch in Rzeszów.

The ceremony was chaired by HM prof. dr hab. Paweł Czarnecki, MBA, DBA, Provost of Uczelnia Biznesu i Nauk Stosowanych „Varsovia”, Founder, MA, Michał Głaczyński, MBA, DBA, Vice-Provosts: dr Tomasz Kulesza, MBA and MA Iwona Górka, MBA, as well as dr Henryk Pietrzak, MBA, Director of the Institute of Psychology.

The inaugural lecture entitled “Psychology and medicine” was delivered by prof. dr hab. (medical science) Rafał Niżankowski – Chairman of the Council of the Agency and Evaluation of Medical Technologies, Chairman of the Accreditation Council at the Minitry of Health and lecturer at the Jagiellonian University.

During the ceremony, matriculation and the vow of first-year students took place.

The inauguration ceremony of the academic year 2019/2020 was attended by numerous guests, including the authorities of the City of Rzeszów, Jarosław, the City Council, Rzeszów County, representatives from the media as well as from different cultural centres and external stakeholders of the university.

Blessings for the new academic year 2019/2020 were given by Fr. prof. dr hab. can. Janusz Mierzwa from the Catholic University of Lublin.
