The ceremonial end of the academic year 2018/2019 and the promotion of the Executive MBA graduates

     On Saturday, June 29 this year, in the historic Palladium Theatre in Warsaw, a graduation ceremony was held for the alumni of the Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme from Warsaw, Rzeszów, Lublin, Radom, Poznań, Katowice, Gdańsk and Kaula Lumpur in Malaysia. The celebrations were chaired by HM, the Provost, prof. dr. hab. Paweł Czarnecki, MBA, dr. h.c. During the event, Fr. prof. dr. hab. Tadeusz Bąk made an act of consecrating and passing of the banner of Uczelnia Biznesu i Nauk Stosowanych „Varsovia” – Warsaw Management University.

 

     HM, the Provost, prof. Paweł Czarnecki appointed dr. Tomasz Kulesza as the Vice-Provost of the University Branch in Rzeszów and MA Piotr Dwornicki as the Vice-Provost of the Branch in Poznań. The following persons were appointed as members of the University Convent: prof. Jan Mojzis, HM Provost of the Newton College in Prague (Czech Republic), Maciej Nykiel, President of the Board of Neckermann Polska, prof. dr. hab. Stanislava Szabo, Dean of the Faculty of Aviation at the Technical University in Košice (Slovakia) and adv. Wojciech Mądrzycki.

 

     A letter of greetings and congratulations sent by the President of Law and Justice, dr. Jarosław Kaczyński, was read during the ceremony. Congratulations and greetings to the graduates were passed by dr. h.c. Ryszard Czarnecki, Member of the EU Parliament and Member of the University Convent, who was honoured with the Civis Academicus Honorificum of Uczelnia Biznesu i Nauk Stosowanych „Varsovia” – Warsaw Management University.

 

     The international character of the ceremony at the Palladium Theatre was emphasised by the honourable guests. Among them were present: prof. Jan Mojzis, HM Provost of the Newton College in Prague (Czech Republic), prof. Tomas Lengyelfalusy, HM Provost of Vysoka Skola DTI v Dubnica nad Vahom (Slovakia), Ft. prof. dr. hab. Sławomir Bukowski, Vice-Provost of Pułaski University of Technology and Humanities in Radom, prof. Sebastian Fuller, Director of Apsley Business School in London (Great Britain), prof. Jovan Didier, Director of the University Institute for International and European Studies in Kierkegaard (Netherlands), prof. Claus Muss, Vice-Provost and Director of Gesundheits Campus in Munich (Germany), general prof. dr. hab. Miroslav Kelemen, Aviation Department of the Technical University in Košice (Slovakia), dr. Daniel Milewski, Vice-Provost of WWSB in Warsaw and Member of the Polish Parliament, Dominik Tarczyński, Member of the EU Parliament, Jan Grzegorz Prądzyński, President of the Polish Chamber of Insurance, prof. dr. hab. n. med. Ireneusz Nawrot, Warsaw Medical University and President of De Virion Academy, adv. Jolanta Turczynowicz-Kieryłło.

 

     After the official part of the ceremony, a performance of Anna Bakalarska, an artist and lecturer at the University, took place. During the ceremony, there was also a proposal by one of the graduates of the Executive MBA programme, who appeared on the stage with a bouquet of red roses and an engagement ring as well as his surprised wife-to-be.

 

     The ceremony was honoured by the singing of the choir of the Warsaw Archcathedral of Saint John the Baptist, who performed the following positions: Bogurodzica, Gaude Mater Polonia, Ode to Joy and Gaude Amus Igitur.

 

     We would like to wish all the graduates, students, partners and authorities of Uczelnia Biznesu i Nauk Stosowanych „Varsovia” – Warsaw Management University many more successes and, of course, great holidays!
