1st International Academic Chess Tournament Poland-Uzbekistan

We are proud to announce that our University has recently hosted the 1st Poland-Uzbekistan International Academic Chess Tournament! This unique event was an excellent opportunity for chess players to compete at an international level, but it also integrated people from two different cultural circles.

The academic curriculum of our University places a strong emphasis on developing strategic thinking skills, while recognizing that the key element in developing comprehensive competences is the ability to plan and make conscious decisions. In this context, there is no better tool than a chess competition.

The awards were presented by the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Poland, HE Amirsaid Agzamkhodayev. It is right to say that the competition and distinctions awarded became a symbol of recognition for the great effort put in by all the student participants as well as their talents. We are proud that the event showed a great commitment of both countries to develop friendly relations while exchanging experiences in the field of science and sports.

We do hope that the competition will go down in the history of our University as a celebration of tolerance, cooperation and international friendship.
