On-line debate – Data epidemic: something about Big Data and AI

Data epidemic: something about Big Data and AI

Monday, 20 April 2020 at 14:00

A decade ago, Polish mathematicians created a model for the development of a flu epidemic in our country. Thousands of data were collected and compared, and this allowed to accurately forecast the dynamics of a disease growth. This projection also allowed to estimate the impact of a situation where all the social life is put to a standstill and how it might influence the general epidemiological situation as well as the state of the economy. Politicians, however, found this tool rather useless, so it was shoved into the university’s drawers. If it were to be constantly updated, though, today it would already allow to shape the plan to fight the coronavirus, so that it would be rational for both public health and Polish GDP. Will the state and businesses draw some conclusions from this? We would like to invite you to the next Anti-Crisis Interview on Capital24.tv.

Will artificial intelligence help with the fight against the crisis?

What awaits the robotization during these days of the rising unemployment?

How and why should you aggregate data in your company?
