On September 7 – 9 this year, the 30th Economic Forum was held at the Gołębiewski Hotel in Karpacz. Over 4,000 guests from Poland, Europe as well as Central and Eastern Asia took part in 417 plenary sessions.
The event was also attended by HM, prof. dr hab. Paweł Czarnecki – Provost of Uczelnia Biznesu i Nauk Stosowanych „Varsovia”, who was invited to take part in the discussion panel on “The private sector participation in the reorganization of the education system”.
The Economic Forum, organized since 1992, is the most important meeting place for political and business elites in Europe. Every year, it hosts important personalities, including ministers, prime ministers and high-ranking individuals from the world of politics, business, science and economy. The Economic Forum is primarily a platform for meetings, plenary sessions, discussion panels and the exchange of opinions amongst the experts. The debates focus on a dozen or so thematic paths, in areas such as security, media, communication, health, politics, education, exports, international affairs, management and business as well as sustainable development and more. This year’s jubilee edition was also attended by the Provost of Uczelnia Biznesu i Nauk Stosowanych „Varsovia”.
