Uczelnia Biznesu i Nauk Stosowanych „Varsovia” becomes a member of the Polish Federation of Hospitals!
We are pleased to announce that on February 11 this year, Uczelnia Biznesu i Nauk Stosowanych „Varsovia” was admitted to the group of supporting members of the Polish Federation of Hospitals.
Established in 2011, the Federation is a nationwide entity associating hospital institutions. Over 210 facilities across the country belong to the group.
The mission of the Federation is, among other things, the improvement of hospital operating conditions and undertaking efforts to better finance these institutions, while increasing the importance of hospital management, patients and employees of the sector. The Federation works to improve the quality and good practices of management and education in the sector.
We are proud to have joined the most representative organization of employers in the hospital sector in Poland. This move is in line with the demands of our policy of social responsibility. Needless to indicate that our educational offer includes medical-related fields of study, including:
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Clinical Research,
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Healthcare Management,
- Doctor from Business Administration (DBA) in Healthcare Management.
It is also worth noting here that in 2019, we established an Institute of Health and Social Affairs at Uczelnia Biznesu i Nauk Stosowanych „Varsovia” whose Programme Council President became prof. Jarosław J. Fedorowski, MD, PhD, MBA, FACP, FESC, President of the Polish Federation of Hospitals. On the occasion of the inauguration of the Institute, a conference was organised during which Mr Adam Niedzielski, the acting President of the National Health Fund, and Professor Jarosław J. Fedorowski presented the “Code of good management practices”.
