On 21 July this year, at the headquarters of the Main School of Fire Services in Warsaw, prof. dr hab. Paweł Czarnecki, MBA, LL.M., DBA, dr h.c. – HM the Provost of Uczelnia Biznesu i Nauk Stosowanych „Varsovia” signed a cooperation agreement with Chief Brigade Manager – dr. eng. Mariusz Feltynowski, HM the Provost-Commandant of the Main School of Fire Services.

The subject of our cooperation is the continuation and further development of joint initiatives undertaken by the two intitutions so far. The parties expressed their willingness to cooperate in the areas of scientific, research, teaching, organizational and promotional activities, in particular:

• joint implementation of scientific, research, development and educational undertakings as well as pursuance of research and scientific projects,
• submission of joint proposals for the development of projects in national and international competitions,
• preparation and implementation of didactic projects, in accordance with the needs reported by the two parties,
• joint organization of conferences, seminars and symposia,
• developing joint publications in scientific journals and scientific monographs,
• pursuing student exchanges related to educational, scientific or research projects,
• implementation of staff visits to exchange experiences in the field of education and research and to participate in research internships.

The cooperation between the parties is the result of their extensive research and development achievements which will ensure the synergy effect of the joint work to be carried out.

A strong research team and developed infrastructure of the Main School of Fire Services correlate with the innovation, international experience and a wide range of specialist study programmes taught at Uczelnia Biznesu i Nauk Stosowanych „Varsovia”. This combination will ensure the highest level of implementation of the joint ventures.

The parties join forces to become a stronger business and scientific partner in many available national and international projects.

As part of the cooperation, Uczelnia Biznesu i Nauk Stosowanych „Varsovia” already organizes with the Main School of Fire Services an Executive MBA study programme for the commanding staff of the State Fire Services in Poland.
