Enrollment for a specialist training course “Introduction to Suicidology” – expert prof. Adam Czabański
We would like to invite you to take part in a specialised training delivered by prof. dr. hab. Adam Czabański “Introduction to Suicidology”, which will be launched on 29 March 2022.
Suicidology is the study of suicide, attempted suicide and broadly understood self-destructiveness.
The expert delivering the training will be prof. dr. hab. Adam Czabański – who is a sociologist, suicidologist and Vice President of the Polish Suicidological Society as well as author of 240 scientific publications, including 16 books. Professor Czabański will share his practical and specialist knowledge.
Training topics include:
- the main problems of defining suicide,
- the scale of the phenomenon of suicide around the world,
- the scale and characteristics of suicidal behaviours in Poland,
- suicidal mechanisms in psychomanipulation groups,
- the phenomenon of “contagious” suicides – suicide pacts,
- altruistic suicides,
- mourning after the suicide of a loved one,
- presuicidal and postsuicidal prophylaxis.
After completing the training, each participant will receive a Certificate.
The duration of the training is 20 hours. Classes will be held remotely on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in the afternoon and evening.
The cost of the training is PLN 200.
